“Shiny Trip” is a co-creation project initiated by Angle Gallery and Studiososlow, in collaboration with Kauwgombal, focusing on a series of kite-inspired lighting fixtures. We aim to explore the narrative possibilities of images and build connections with objects. This project engages in deep collaboration with 14 graphic designers and artists, re-entering the journey of Simon, a character from the works of French novelist Gracq, who seeks to pass the time. The journey takes us through the landscapes, fields, marshes, and seaside villages of the Brittany Peninsula. Using the “images” encountered along the way as a starting point, we will create new visual traces on the kite lighting fixtures from Studiososlow. We are providing the exhibition’s visual system for this project.
